Just got my iPad today and thought I’d do the obligatory post from it. Posting from the iPad is really easy and makes me feel like I’m in a super-futuristic movie. In five years I’ll be saying ” I can’t believe I was posting on that OLD iPad!”

So far my favorite apps are Kindle, Marvel Comics, and Netflix.

Great purchase!

Found these guys while listening to 8tracks.com. They remind me of Rammstein, Nightwish, and Laibach. Apparently I have a thing for European, trashcan-lid banging bands.

From Wikipedia:

Deathstars are a Swedish gothic metal band who originally formed in Stockholm in January 2000. They are noted for their dark horror-themed lyrics, pessimistic and misanthropic social commentary, distinctive trademark face paint and stage uniforms.

Will the Record Industry Die Already?

I am so sick of the zombie youtube videos on my site.

You know the ones, I post a cool song on my blog then three weeks later the video disappears and I get another “This video has been removed…” blah blah blah. Every time I see this I can imagine a room full of old school record execs wringing their hands and twirling their mustaches saying “HAHAHA! We stopped another fan from promoting our artists for free!” Everyone nods and stomps canes on the ground.

None of them realize they just spent money to STOP someone from getting the word out about an artist or song. Isn’t that advertising in reverse?

So here’s my suggestion for the new youtube message when a video is pulled:
